JOHN A. MCDOUGALL

John A. McDougall is an American physician and author

who has written a number of diet books advocating the consumption of plant based low-fat, starchy food. He conducts a 10 day residential program in Santa Rosa, a suburb of San Francisco where all patients are taken off medications for most chronic diseases and fed a plant based whole food diet for 10 days. The program succeeds in reducing blood pressure, blood glucose, LDL cholesterol and improving other signs of health.

He also conducts Advanced Study Weekend program open to public where other notable doctors, researchers and professors talk on the subject of health & nutrition.

T. COLIN CAMPBELL

Thomas Colin Campbell, PhD is an American biochemist who specializes in the effect of nutrition on long-term health. He is the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University. Campbell has become known for his advocacy of a low-fat, whole foods, plant-based diet. He represented US in the famous China Study project and authored a book by the same name.

CALDWELL ESSELSTYN

Caldwell Blakeman Esselstyn Jr. is an American physician, author and former Olympic rowing champion. Esselstyn is director of the Heart Disease Reversal Program at the Cleveland Clinic. He independently demonstrated in the 1980s that arterial blockages can be reversed by diet and lifestyle modifications.

Ex President Bill Clinton has been his patient since 2010.

Michael Herschel Greger is an American physician, author, and professional speaker on public health issues, best known for his advocacy of a whole-food, plant-based diet, and his opposition to animal-derived food products. He runs a nonprofit organization called NutritionFacts.Com and has published over 1,400 videos on YouTube.

Dean Michael Ornish is an American physician and researcher. He is the president and founder of the nonprofit Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, California, and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He demonstrated independently in 1980s that cardiac blockages can be reversed by changing diet and lifestyle.

Dr. Neil Bernard

Neal D. Barnard, MD, FACC,

is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.

and founding president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. He successfully initiated a lawsuit against US Government’s “Milk Does Body Good” campaign forcing them to take down all billboards and terminate the campaign.

KIM A. WILLIAMS, MD

Former president of the American College of Cardiology He himself has been a vegan since 2003 and talks about his reasons for doing so – privately and professionally.

JOEL FUHRMAN MD

Dr. Fuhrman is a family physician who advocates a micronutrient-rich diet. He says an alternative medicine therapy helped speed his recovery from a serious injury and led him to become a physician. He promotes a plant based whole food diet.
